Tips for Using the Elementary Connections
September 2016
Tech Connections have been updated
to reflect the changes in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science.
Kindergarten, First grade and Second Grade have been updated to
reflect the integrated curriculum. Activities for
Kindergarten, First Grade and Second grade can be accessed through the gradel
level link. All activities are aligned to the Maryland Common Core
Standards and Next Generation Science Standards where applicable.
Third Grade Science reflects a complete revision.
Check out Multimedia
Tools. This area will be the place to go to locate free
images and other multimedia tools.
Many of the connections will
have links to a Discovery Streaming Video. These links will then
prompt logon information. It is best to logon to Discovery prior to
selecting the video.
